Nudibranch
Fish · 5'0 to 6'8
Short, wide and fast. A fish for paddle power, speed generation and making more of weaker waves.
- Family
- Fish
- Size range
- 5'0 to 6'8
- Fin set-up
- Twin or quad. Twin keeps it loose and flowing with a longer, drawn-out feel through turns. Quad adds drive and hold, particularly useful when the wave has a bit more push behind it.
- Construction
- PU, EPS or agave blank, glassed with high bio-content epoxy resin.
Outline
Full fish outline with a wider nose, generous planing area and a swallow tail. Designed to carry speed and make the most of weaker surf.
Rocker
Lower rocker for paddle speed, early entry and glide through flatter sections.
Bottom contours
Single concave through the entry and mid-section, splitting into a double concave through the fins. The single feeds speed and lift down the centre of the board. The double channels water out through each fin independently, adding looseness and drive under the back foot.
Rails and tail
Lower rails, sharp tail edges and a beak nose.
Good for
Paddle power, speed generation, small to medium surf, gutless or mushy conditions, and surfers who want to get more out of less wave.
